"Religion is for people who are afraid to go to hell. Spirituality is for those who have been there, and don't want to go back."

Step 1 — We admitted we were powerless to change certain aspects of our lives no matter what we tried— our way didn't work.
Step 2 — Came to believe in a Source of Power that helped others, and could help us.
Step 3 — Made a conscious decision to turn our will and our lives over to that Source Of Power.
Step 4 — Wrote a thorough and honest inventory of our lives.
Step 5 — Shared our inventory with the Source of Power and our trusted Step Partner.
Step 6 — Made a list of all things which had been blocking us.
Step 7 — Humbly asked the Source of Power to remove all things which had been blocking us.
Step 8 — Made a list of all people and organizations with whom we were out of integrity.
Step 9 — Made direct amends to all people and institutions with whom we were out of integrity.
Step 10 — Continued to take personal inventory throughout each day, and made amends when necessary, to keep the Power flowing.
Step 11 — Sought through prayer, meditation, affirmations, and other spiritual practices to maintain and grow our conscious contact with the Source of Power.
Step 12 — Having an awakened spirit as a result of these steps, we proactively carried this message to others, and practiced spiritual actions in all areas of our lives.
We practice sacred confidentiality.
LALA is modeled after the original "home group" gatherings of AA. We are not fearful or secretive of who we are inside the Circle/ gathrings. We know one another by name. We have our cameras on. We listen with respect and stay present to one another's shares. We show up authentically, honestly, and with accountability.
However, outside the Circle/gatherings, we do not identify others as members or share their stories.
* Almost Anonymous means that, while we honor anonymity within the fellowship, we also recognize that sharing our own experience can be an act of service. As we grow, we may choose to speak openly and humbly (never taking credit or "celebrating how great LALA is", or how "special we are", so others can find hope — remaining visible enough to serve, yet humble enough to remember that the work flows through us, not from us.

LALA* is guided by virtues — the principles of how we show up for ourselves and one another.
Confidentiality | Humility| Presence

A spiritual movement for all people seeking community, healing, and a deeper spiritual experience.
The problem is blockage. The solution is love.

No matter your struggle, LALA* offers a path toward community, healing, and spiritual growth.
